Privacy & cookies
Last updated: June 2026
Ashore Local is a free guide for cruise visitors arriving at the Port of LA in San Pedro. We keep things simple. No third-party advertising, no cross-site tracking, no selling data.
What we store on your device
We use first-party browser storage (cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage) for:
- A random visitor ID and session ID so we can count unique visits without identifying you.
- Your selected origin (cruise terminal, hotel, etc.) so the planner remembers it.
- An entry source tag when you arrive from a QR code or partner link.
- Whether you have dismissed the cookie notice.
None of this contains your name, email, or precise location. It stays in your browser and is only sent to our own analytics database.
What we collect server-side
- Anonymous event data: page views, which places you tap, which itineraries get built.
- Coarse device info: platform (mobile, tablet, desktop), language, time zone, viewport size.
- Referrer URL when your browser sends one.
We use this to improve the recommendations and to share aggregate, non-identifying stats with listed businesses (for example, how many people tapped their card).
Accounts
If you create an account to manage a business listing or post an event, we store your email and display name to sign you in. We do not send marketing email.
Third parties
- Google Maps and Google Fonts load assets from Google when you view certain pages.
- Our backend is hosted on Lovable Cloud (Supabase).
- We do not run ad networks or social pixels.
Your choices
- Clear your browser storage at any time to reset your visitor ID and preferences.
- Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or private window if you prefer not to be counted.
- Email evee@pureflowpartners.com to request deletion of account data.
